The Online application allows an applicant to enter the text data and documents for a document attestation. An application can be saved temporarily or a submitted application can be edited till the application is not processed. But before it can be saved, certain mandatory fields must be filled in. These fields can later be entered to retrieve the saved or submitted application. Applications are saved for 15 working days or till document attestation is done, whichever is first. After 15 working days, even if document attestation is not done, that application can no longer be retrieved using the information.
Applicant receives message in their mobile through SMS whether their document is APPROVED or PENDING. Once the applicant receives SMS about approval of application, applicants has to click on Online Payment Link and print the voucher using his/her Reference Number and applicant mobile number and pay the required amount (attestation fee) through any branch of Global IME Bank or make the payments (attestation fee) through online system (Connect IPS). The voucher consists of three sections – for banks purpose, for department’s purpose and applicant’s copy. If you pay through online system then print two copy of payment receipt.
If the application is in pending, edit the application with the help of Reference Number and Passport Number and update as per comment. After payment, applicants should come to the department with color print of Police Clearance Certificate and paid voucher receipt for the attestation within 10 AM to 3 PM.
